Turkey’s first domestic tractor HSG was produced by Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture in 1963. However, HSG, which was not taken into mass production, now lives only in museums and photographs.

HSG, having potential to meet the need for domestic tractors born with the rapid mechanization of agriculture, became a victim of the political turmoil of that period and after only two units were produced the project was on the shelf.
